Among the Out Islands of the Bahamas is the white and pink sandy paradise of
Eleuthera
. The catch phrase of this island, “It’s not for everyone” holds true as the island is a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Pink Sand Beach
This beach, on Harbor Island, is among the best beaches in Bahamas. The pink sand of the beach stretches along nearly 3 miles with a 100 foot width.
The Cove Eleuthera Beach
Close to Gregory Town, this private beach offers amazing views from the cliffs that surround it.
Cape Eleuthera Resort Beach
Located on the southernmost tip of Eleuthera, this private beach stretches over 4,500 acres along the periphery of the wilderness.
The Beach at Pineapple Fields
The Beach at Pineapple Fields is well known for the unique restaurant and beach bar that sits along its shores. It is located near Governor’s Harbor.
Preacher’s Beach
Home to one of Eleuthera’s famous landmarks, Preachers Cave, this beach is ideal for beachside picnics. It is located towards the north.
French Leave Beach
Among the blushing pink beaches is the French Leave Beach located close to Governor’s Harbor.
Lighthouse Beach
The beach is named after the famous old lighthouse that is built on its shores. Located near Cape Eleuthera, this pink soft-sand beach has miles and miles of unspoiled beauty.
Surfer’s Beach
This beach is a surfers paradise, located just 2 miles away from Gregory Town.
Some other famous beaches in Eleuthera include the Ten Bay Beach, Deep Creek Beach, Gauldings Cay Beach, Holiday Beach, James Cistern Beach, North Palmetto Point Beach, Paradise Beach, and Windemer Island Beach.
