Your Average Man’s Handbook for Dating
I’ll be clear, I’m not that desperately eligible single man, all too interested in being alone instead of living it up with friends. I’d bet readers have never seen me talk much about great dating and companionship. No surprise.
Helplessness is an avoidable foreign condition and totally missing from my values. But, There’s no point avoiding it, I definitely needed to squelch a special fling which meant a lot for us but simply deadended for both of us. Therefore one would tell ya it may have been a while since I dated someone new. I don’t hold the optimism of dating thru great expectations I once did.
Being single is new and free. I know one thing, I don’t know how to stay in undisturbed, binging on Lost episodes off the torrents. The biggest reason for this spell of incidental dating apathy? We’re not in high school, and there are fewer available women.
My former college pal, Josh, who will never have dating boredom, told me he’s almost shooting from the same blind as I am. He introduced me to this Dallas dating service called Great Expectations. Of course, I take to getting to know attractive gals with similar interests. So I decided to make a change and I’m now a satisfied member.
The point is, ya can’t grovel about not having plans if you haven’t picked up the phone. As our mentor and soccer coach Chris Smith often said as his idea of encouragement, “Fools lose before they try, Jeff.”
The man didn’t know my name. But, the man was right in a way nobody could understand. He always made us laugh. The fun series of Dallas singles events I just went to definitely would have blown his noggin’.
At great expectations singles events I talked to some quality and desirable singles that meet my interest. I actually had a blast with some indisputably enjoyable people. Went home following a sweet farewell, in addition to the fact that I came across some social networking connections for my business. Score.
Put yourself in the play. Can’t win if you sit the bench. Listen to me and you might as well have great expectations for your dating life.
